Meet Mathilde
Freshly arrived from France, with a florist diploma in her pocket and dreams in her head, it was in 2012 that Mathilde stepped into La pousse verte. With a great passion for flowers and a desire to give her clients an extraordinary experience, she put 100% of herself into this business, as if it were her own.
In 2018, as he leaves for retirement after owning the store since its opening, Mr. Belleau makes Mathilde’s dream come true: she becomes the owner of her florist store.
Since that day, tirelessly and supported by a beautiful tightly woven team, La pousse verte offers fresh, high-quality cut flowers and houseplants. Mathilde and her team make it a point to stay on top of new trends to always offer current beautiful floral creations that meet the needs and expectations of consumers.
Seizing opportunities
2021 will have been for many a rather difficult year, in all ways. For Mathilde, it will have been the year of renewal and big projects. Indeed, it is on December 1st, 2021 that she acquired Décora-fleurs, a second florist store also well established in Quebec City!
Thanks to this partnership, La pousse verte and Décora-fleurs can serve even more people with professionalism, creativity and speed and offer them bouquets of cut flowers, roses of all colours, green and blooming plants and unique and personalized floral creations delivered anywhere in Quebec City and the surrounding area.
Our awards and distinctions
Our team participated in the Fleurs de Villes event at Place Sainte-Foy in Quebec City in 2018 and 2019. At our second participation, we received the Realism award for our creation, a dress all in flowers, and we are very proud of it!
